If the SSD fails then install your cloned SSD and restore the latest image of the SSD from the USB HDD. This will allow you to restore the image to the current SSD should it no longer boot. Remember to create a rescue USB flash drive that Macrium Reflect allows you to do. You can keep multiple images of the SSD on the USB HDD. You are better off imaging your current SSD to a USB external HDD.
